David Palterer

David Palterer is an Israeli architect, designer and artist who now lives and works in Florence.He has taught at the Staatliche Akademie der bildenden Kunste in Stuttgart, at the faculty of architecture of the University of Florence and since 2008 he has taught at the faculty of architecture of the Politecnico di Milano and at the Istituto Superiore per le Industrie Artistiche in Florence.

He deals with projects ranging from the territorial scale, to the urban, and interior design, for which he develops furniture components.

He took part in important international projects, including the project for the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem and the new Museum of the Opera of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence.

Palterer has developed a long relationship with important companies, both in the industrial and avant-garde production of glass, ceramic and marble objects and for lighting. Some of these objects are part of the permanent collections of art galleries and museums.
